Hello My Name Is ______

As a child, I would anthropomorphize objects—I would build bonds that transcended their inanimate nature; a somewhat common experience, and one that’s lost with age.

When designing this chair, I wanted to force this lost perspective onto its viewers—to design an object that has a personality without anyone having to assign it one.

After finishing the piece, I figured the ultimate expression of this would be naming it like you would a person or pet, but that’s best left to whoever owns it in the end.
